Reykjavik Energy is in the process of reconsidering the company policy in regards to environmental issues. The company will focus on environmental issues to a larger extend. Reykjavik Energy is interested in laying a foundation for cooperation in research with the Universities. Part of Reykjavik Energy‘s projects will be given over to the Universities to get fresh ideas from the students and to bridge the gap between the business world and the learning society, says Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarsson, chairman of Reykjavik Energy. The company will work towards the goal of having all their cars run by environmentally friendly fuel.
